Over the course of the past 6 months, sixty individuals have chipped in to allow us to plant 1100 trees at Mt Worth in Gippsland, VIC. A beautiful district in Eastern Victoria.   Friends of Mt Worth and District, Gippsland, VIC.   Thank you to supporters of Fifteen Trees for [...]

The above quote was what John Toman wrote when he offered to buy trees from me to distribute to community groups for planting. Some of the 145 trees planted at Balliang. John's 60 trees went out to The Brisbane Ranges (west of Melbourne) along with 45 trees from Tony Douglass, director at  Ballarat Hocking Stuart Real Estate, 15 trees from Felix Junker and 10 trees from Ohnmar John [...]

Trees as Gifts.

Coming up to Christmas, I've had a few people buy trees as gifts to give this festive season.  These 'gift trees' (60) have all been planted in one location at Heathcote, Victoria. Heide Hackworth from Earth Greetings bought 15 trees each for her sales reps. Robert Wilhelm, Stacey Mulcahy and Thalia Whetstone are now driving greener cars as their carbon emissions are being collected by the 45 trees Heide has [...]

This year at my stall,  I offered a 'one tree' option for those who liked the idea of helping out with planting trees on a small scale. As a result, 26 people decided to part with $5.00 and have since had planted 26 trees on their behalf. Also at the festival, Jennifer Clark and [...]

Sam and Ned helping to plant 60 native trees. Over the course of the year I find myself giving gifts of trees in appreciation of people's support. In 2011, I gave trees to two landowners in central Victoria. Sixty trees went to Charley from Metcalf and another sixty went to Nicole (her 2 boys are pictured) from the Bendigo region. Those who had trees planted  on their behalf included: Asha from Angus & Celeste (15 [...]

Over the year, Fifteen Trees was approached by a number of  organisations asking to donate a green prize for their fundraisers.  Fifteen Trees is more than happy to provide a carbon offsetting prize to a worthwhile cause and as a result in 2010, sixty trees were planted in rural Victoria. Two cars were carbon offset (ie 30 trees planted) as part of the Future Shots Sustainability Film competition. The challenge was for young film makers to produce a 3 minute film with the theme [...]
