Fifteen Trees can plant trees on your behalf to help collect your cars’ carbon emissions.
In return for your $82.50 (incl GST), 15 trees are planted to reduce the footprint of your car for one year ($5.50/tree).
Not only will these trees help collect the greenhouse emissions from your car for one year, they will also be creating green corridors, providing native wildlife with habitat, and helping to reverse the effects of erosion and raising water tables (causing salt in the soil to rise to the surface). Trees also provide a vital role in maintaining a stable global climate.
Not a bad effort from a small grove of trees!
Fifteen Trees can help your reduce the carbon emissions of your flight.
Determine how many trees you need by using our calculation table. Trees cost $6.30/each (incl GST). All flights are from Australia and calculated at a return flight rate for one person.
Travel safely and tread lightly!
According to Sustainability Victoria, the average Australian lifestyle produces 15,000kg of carbon per year. If that sounds like a lot, it is! Over its lifetime, a tree can collect and store 268kg. This means, we each need to plant 58 trees per year to bring our individual carbon production down to zero. A little tricky for most of us to do in our own backyards, and this is where Fifteen Trees comes in.
We’d love to plant trees as a gift for your family, friends and colleagues.
You will also receive a beautiful gift card (blank inside) for you to write in and pass along to the recipient of your trees. Plus this Christmas, we are adding a little something from Melbourne designer Natalie Marshall.
Once planted, we will send you and the recipient the link to the blogpost.
Fifteen Trees can help your gatherings be a little more sustainable by planting one tree for every guest. With a bit of notice, we can have your trees planted before the big day arrives. That way your guests can read all about the trees you have planted on their behalf.
