A Subscription for the Planet
According to Sustainability Victoria, the average Australian lifestyle produces 15,000kg of carbon per year. Meanwhile, over its lifetime, a tree can collect and store 268kg of carbon. This means, we each need to plant 60 trees per year to reduce our carbon footprint. A little tricky for most of us to do in our own backyards. This is where Fifteen Trees comes in. We can plant these 60 trees on your behalf. Trees are planted by Australian community groups and are sourced from local nurseries.
Join A Subscription for the Planet with a monthly ($27), quarterly ($81) or yearly subscription ($324). Trees cost $5.40.
Throughout the course of the year, we will periodically send you updates on your trees with a final report in December.
- acknowledge your subscription via a personal email,
- over the course of the year, plant 60 native trees on your behalf,
- organise for you to receive regular updates about your trees,
- post out a car sticker (I’m reducing my Footprint) and a lovely greeting card from Melbourne’s Little Hello Studio.
Once planted, you can find your trees anytime by typing your name into the search box on our Tree Plantings page. All trees are native/indigenous and planted in Australia by community groups.
By confirming your subscription, you allow Fifteen Trees to charge you for future payments in accordance with their terms. You can always cancel your subscription.
