A Subscription for the Planet
According to Sustainability Victoria, the average Australian lifestyle produces 15,000kg of carbon per year. Meanwhile, over its lifetime, a tree can collect and store 268kg of carbon. This means, we each need to plant 60 trees per year to take our individual carbon production to neutral. A little tricky for most of us to do in our own backyards. This is where Fifteen Trees comes in. We can plant these 60 trees on your behalf when you join A Subscription for the Planet.
Join A Subscription for the Planet with a monthly ($27), quarterly ($81) or yearly subscription ($324). Trees cost $5.40.
We know Australia is in dire shape; rivers are being mismanaged, huge areas of bushland are being cut down in Queensland, Tasmania is battling to save the Tarkine, while Victorians are battling to establish the Great National Park.
It can be overwhelming to see such devastation. And so, we want to help move you past the feeling of helplessness to one of action and community.

- over the course of the year, plant 60 native trees on your behalf,
- organise for you to receive regular updates about your trees,
- post out a car sticker (I’m reducing my Footprint) and a lovely greeting card from Melbourne’s Little Hello Studio.
Once planted, you can find your trees anytime by typing your name into the search box on our Tree Plantings page. All trees are native/indigenous and planted in Australia by community groups. Opt out anytime.
