G.J. Gardner Homes Mildura are fabulous supporters of the local environmental in Mildura. They have recently provided an additional 190 trees to 2 community groups for planting. Earlier this year, they gave 100 trees to Merbein Landcare and 40 to Koorlong Primary School.

This time round, 80 trees were provided to Rae Jeffers (Secretary of the Yelta Landcare Group) and her team of volunteers. The trees were planted adjacent to the roadside reserve on Meridian and Norman Rds. This planting now makes up a corridor which now links to the reserve.

Another 110 trees were provided to the Mildura Motorcycle Club. The MMC recently had a major upgrade of their facilities and they were keen to extend the working bees to include the surrounding land. When the club heard that Fifteen Trees could offer them trees – they jumped at the opportunity.

Huge thank you to Di and Brad Stanbrook of G.J. Gardner Homes Mildura, who are very enthusiastic supporters of the Fifteen Trees program. All up they have helped 330 trees to ‘get into the ground’ this year. Their support has been invaluable and very much appreciated by the community groups who took up the offer of the trees.
Thank you too to Rae Jeffers who coordinated the planting of all these trees.
