Wildlife corridor extended thanks to Effective Electrical.

TREES PLANTED

Effective Electrical are Ballarat’s accredited solar installers. Not only are they helping to keep costs of electricity down they are also reducing the carbon footprint of all those households who have gone solar. Tomas Kucera from Effective Electrical says ‘there has never been a time when solar power has been more affordable’.     As an added bonus to customers who care about the environment, Effective Electrical, though Fifteen Trees, now plant 5 trees for every solar installation. This quarter, 300 trees went out to the Leigh Catchment Group their a National Tree Day event at the Yarrowee Creek, Mt Pleasant.

Friends of Yarrowee National Tree Day Sunday 29th July The morning we went out planting trees was perfect (although a week later than planned). Around 70 people gathered on the banks of beautiful Yarrowee River in Mount Pleasant to take part in our annual event. Here, we added to the past 5 years of plantings with 500 new indigenous plants, of which 300 were kindly donated by Effective Electrical. Thank you to the Effective Electrical team. We will continue to expand this wildlife corridor over the years to come. Thank you to all who attended. And also to Ballarat Wild Plants for sourcing the trees for us. Volunteers
Great work from all the volunteers for getting all 500 trees planted, and of course to Effective Electrical for supplying Leigh Catchment Group with 300 of those trees. And to those who choose Effective Electrical for their solar insulations … good choice! Sláinte – Colleen
