Simon Hughes from Hughes Renovators Paradise is unique in that they specialise in the sale of RECLAIMED building materials. This company encourages recycling and UP-CYCLING. Who would not want a BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED piece of history in their home.
Simon also supports tree planting through Fifteen Trees. Every year, I plant 90 trees for Renovators Paradise. This year, his trees have gone to a small rural primary school in Nullawil (Western Victoria, around 3 hours from Melbourne).

The project aims to increase ecological diversity within the Nullawil area, to engage both community members and students of Nullawil Primary School, and to achieve a level of enthusiasm, respect and understanding towards the importance of conservation.

They were taught how to plant and guard the trees and shrubs and will continue maintenance such as watering, mulching and weeding of vegetation as part of their school program. Everyone involved enjoyed a fun filled, educational and very rewarding afternoon. WPA acknowledges that when it comes to environmental initiatives, its people are its strength. It has recently partnered with us to plant 15 trees for each hard-working staff member identified as a Sustainability Warrior.
Tasman Cottage already gives you a chance to reconnect with nature, yet its manager Nick has taken an important next step. He recently purchased 150 trees in collaboration with us here at Fifteen Trees, an action which ensures vital habitat for our native fauna, such as the unique Tassie Devil.
