Peter Lawrence, President of the Wynyard Landcare Group was delighted to have another 135 trees for his local tree planting projects. This was due to the generous support of Chris and Tanya Dell from G.J. Gardner Homes Launceston. Some of the 135 trees went along the Inglis River to help stabilize the bank, while the rest went out to landcare member David Dunnings. David planted the trees to provide shelter and habitat and also to help with the sub-surface drainage of the soils during Tasy’s long wet winters.   G.J. Gardner Homes have (to date) helped plant over 4000 trees across Victoria and Tasmania. Ross Morley (Managing Director) has partnered up with Fifteen Trees and is committed to planting 15 trees for every new home built. The trees go to community groups (such as landcare and schools) for planting and are sourced from local independent nurseries. This is fantastic support for our rural and regional communities in both states. Slainte – Colleen[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
