You can see the effects of the bushfire in the background.
Dear Colleen, My parents came to help me plant the trees (35) that you offered me. They have been planted on the south west side of the property (which is where the fire first entered before wrapping around). These  trees were used by many of the bird population for nesting and have unfortunately not regenerated. This location means I can keep an eye on the plants to maximise their survival chances. I will be using wire to make tree guards with plastic bags to help insulate. Thank you to the businesses for allowing this to be possible and thank you for your program. Regards Bridget Leadership Ballarat and Western Region raised some funds during their annual dinner for those who were effected by the Dereel fires in March of this year. Their generosity enabled Bridget to plant 35 trees on her property north of the township.  Sofia Fiusco, who runs the program said the group wanted to provide something meaningful to the district. Fifteen Trees was happy to play The Go-Between. Slainte – Colleen [/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
