Maree and Brian Harrison of Harrison Funerals have been on-going supporters of the Garibaldi Hall and have this year, donated another 20 mature trees to the site. In deciding to support Fifteen Trees, Maree and Brian are also supporting community groups such as Garibaldi, who are relying on volunteers to restore the old school and surrounds. Once established the trees will then produce their own seedlings and encourage an ecosystem of native flowers, shrubs, birds, reptiles, insects and mammals.
Thank you to Maree and Brian and well done to the Garibaldi Committee who have taken on the responsibility of restoring the historical site.
Cheers – Colleen
The number of trees planted with the assistance of Fifteen Trees supporters – 5295.
