Yu-Gen Power supports our native environment.

TREES PLANTED

Yu-Gen Power specialise in the installation of RENEWABLE Energy Technologies such as SOLAR and WIND, as well as  BATTERY storage technology.

With an immense passion for all living forms of life, and a strong connection with our earth, I’m an advocate for plant-based diets, and have adopted the Vegan way of life. I foresee a future working in conjunction with nature, not against it. Local production and fair trading communities are an integral part of moving towards a sustainable future. Yu-Gen Power aims to leave a net zero carbon footprint on our planet’. Jarrod Conroy (co-creater of Yu-Gen).

In keeping with their sustainable policies, Yu-Gen Power has asked Fifteen Trees to plant one TREE for every 1 kWh renewable energy system installed.

Pentland Hills Landcare
Pentland Hills Landcare
Yu-Gen’s first lot of trees (700) have been planted along the creeks and the valleys of the Pentland Hills (Vic). The Pentland Hills district of Victoria is roughly 50 km west north-west of Melbourne and living among these hills are a group of hardy Landcare members who care very much for their native environment. They have a long term project called Connecting the Biolinks and it was within that project that Yu-Gen’s trees were planted. Emma Muir from the group wrote …
Many thanks for your generous contribution to our Landcare group. Your support is very important to us and enables us to extend our projects. Ably coordinated by our President Alan Morton we were able to give trees to landholders who live between the Myrniong and Kokruperrimul Creeks to compliment the work that we have done in previous years.
Huge thank you to Jarrod Conroy and Dave Douglas for finding Fifteen Trees (no small feat) and for understanding we all need to support rural communities with their re-vegetation and conservation projects. Slainte – Colleen[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]

1100 TREES PLANTED

June 10, 2026
According to Sustainability Victoria, the average Australian lifestyle produces 15,000kg of carbon per year. If that sounds like a lot, it is! Over its lifetime, a tree can collect and store 268kg. This means, we each need to plant 58 trees per year to bring our individual carbon production down to zero. A little tricky for most of us to do in our own backyards, and this is where ‘A Subscription for the Planet’ comes in.

For hotels, embracing sustainability can strengthen brand loyalty, enhance their reputation, and help differentiate them in a competitive market. In this way, sustainable initiatives are not just good for the planet – they also make strong business sense, creating a win-win for hotels, their guests, and the communities and ecosystems they support.

300 TREES PLANTED

April 29, 2026
There’s something quietly powerful about a person who decides, on their own, to do something good for the planet. No fanfare, no corporate mandate – just a simple choice to put a few trees in the ground. When hundreds of individuals make that same choice, something remarkable happens. Native forests are restored, wildlife corridors are rebuilt, and community groups across Australia get to do the work they love. So if you’ve ever purchased trees through Fifteen Trees, thank you.
