Representatives from GJ Gardner Homes have planted over 500 trees at a Woodstock West property as part of their agreement to plant 15 trees for every house they built.

The native trees were sourced from Neangar Nursery and Revegetation Plants.

G.J.  Gardner Homes Bendigo are working with environmental organisation Fifteen Trees to reduce their carbon footprint.  Sales and marketing assistant Reanna Barnett said it was satisfying to put their mark on the land. ‘The property owners were very appreciate of our efforts and invited us back in 12 months to check on the progress of the trees planted’.

This winter and spring, across the state, employees from G.J. Gardner Homes have been out planting trees to help reduce their carbon footprint. However,  it is the Bendigo office that has planted the most trees. Five hundred went to Woodstock West while another 340 were planted on surrounding properties (more photos to come). All up 840 trees for this small dynamic community. A hard working group.
A hard working group.
Reanna Barnett and her team from G .J Gardner Homes Bendigo are a committed lot who don’t mind closing down their computers for a day to go plant trees. A massive effort. Slainte – Colleen    [/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]

300 TREES PLANTED

April 29, 2026
There’s something quietly powerful about a person who decides, on their own, to do something good for the planet. No fanfare, no corporate mandate – just a simple choice to put a few trees in the ground. When hundreds of individuals make that same choice, something remarkable happens. Native forests are restored, wildlife corridors are rebuilt, and community groups across Australia get to do the work they love. So if you’ve ever purchased trees through Fifteen Trees, thank you.

We have a handful of organisations and small companies, who purchase trees when they can. These people are masters of ingenuity when it comes to incorporating tree planting into their business practices.
