Planting fifteen trees per vehicle is a simple and effective way to increase corporate environmental awareness and responsibility, which is why Waldron Heating, Cooling, & Hot Water opted in.
Revegetation projects tend to rely on a number of sponsors to get trees in the ground. The more individual businesses that pledge to plant, the more likely the project is to grow into a resilient self-sustaining eco-system.
This year their 150 trees (one for every car in the Waldron fleet) were planted as part of an ongoing commitment we have with Narmbool, in Elaine on on Wadawurrung Country to help vegetate the area.
Karl and his qualified team have been servicing heating and cooling services (plus solar solutions) in both businesses and in the home for Ballarat and Western District for over thirty years. Waldron Heating, Cooling & Hot Water also offers a clean, green and sustainable option when it comes to powering the home – solar power. And given their customers are spread over a wide area, they travel a tonne of kilometres annually, so it’s a brilliant move opting to plant trees to offset that carbon emission which all of vehicles inevitably produce.
We commend the ongoing commitment Karl and his team have pledged to Mother Earth. And thank them for reducing their carbon footprint in such an easy and practical way.
