Viatek Western Victoria supports local tree planting.

TREES PLANTED

Managing Director of Viatek Central Victoria Peter Bull, walks the talk when it comes to sustainability. He understands that “being green is not just a potential competitive business advantage, it is also a good way to reduce costs and create more streamlined business processes”.  This year, Fifteen Trees planted 165 trees to reduce the carbon footprint of 11 vehicles at the Geelong office. That’s 15 trees for every car in the fleet. Peter’s 165 trees were planted at Moolap Primary School. Teacher Jane Millinnton writes “A very big thank you to Viatek from Moolap Primary for your generous donation. The trees were planted on National Tree Day by students, teachers and parents.  We have built some beds along the fence line for the trees and are making sure students are staying off the beds. We really want to give the trees the best possible chance”! Hugh thanks to Peter. We still have another 165 trees to be planted in Bendigo district for Viatek Central. Stay tuned. The Kogi people of Northern Columbia have been sending the same message to the West for years. It’s a familiar refrain here at Fifteen Trees, and one we wholeheartedly endorse: ‘Unless we stop violating the Earth and nature, depleting the Great Mother of her material energy, her organs, her vitality; unless people stop working against the Great Mother, the world will not last.’
