Members of the newly formed Vaughan Springs Landcare Group met up last month to plant out 120 trees at the historic township of Vaughan Springs. These trees (along with the tree guards) were very generously paid for by Peter Thompson from Thompson Family Funerals of Castlemaine. Peter has one tree planted for every service entrusted to his care. This is done as a community kindness and there is no charge to the families.
