Peter Thompson from Thompson Family Funeral Directors in Castlemaine as been working with Fifteen Trees since 2012, to help improve the native environment of the Central Highlands district of Victoria. The funeral home has one tree planted for every service and this year 100 trees were planted at Sutton Grange (Central Victoria).
The Sutton Grange Landcare Group recently planted 100 trees in the Sutton Grange township.
Four adults and two children accomplished the project on a windless, sunny late afternoon.
Thanks to all project contributors, in particular to Peter Thompson for purchasing the trees on our behalf.

Huge thank you to Peter and the team from Thompson Family Funerals in Castlemaine. Over the past 5 years, 500 trees have been planted due to your generosity and support. I’d call that .. a small forest.

Fifteen Trees acknowledges Indigenous Australians as the traditional custodians of the lands on which we work, live and play.
We recognise that Indigenous Australians have cared for and lived in harmony with this land for millennia, and their knowledge and wisdom of the land endures.
We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging and stand in solidarity as Indigenous Australians seek a fairer and more sustainable future for the land and its people.
