TREES PLANTED

The trees have been planted on the Hepburn/Ralton property as a native
corridor between a stand of old growth trees and Tankard Swamp. It is wonderful to be able to connect these 2 native sites with some vegetation. The site was well prepared by our team – all this spring rain has been very welcomed and will give the trees a great start in life.

The trees (50) Judy and her team planted at Tankard Swamp (near Bendigo) was made possible by the generous donation of Simon and Susan Mulqueen of Bendigo Funerals. The Mulqueens have been long time supporters of Fifteen Trees and to date have help plant 100’s of trees. The couple plant a tree for every funeral service as a community kindness.

The Kogi people of Northern Columbia have been sending the same message to the West for years. It’s a familiar refrain here at Fifteen Trees, and one we wholeheartedly endorse: ‘Unless we stop violating the Earth and nature, depleting the Great Mother of her material energy, her organs, her vitality; unless people stop working against the Great Mother, the world will not last.’
