TREES PLANTED

The Saint Brigidine Sisters are a small and diverse group of women inspired by St Brigid of Kildare. To quote from their website they ‘engage with the issues of our time’. Climate Change is certainly one of those issues and through Sr Anne and her colleagues, they have come together to take direct action. Twenty Sisters have individually contacted Fifteen Trees to have 15 trees planted on their behalf. All up  – 300 trees. I had 195 trees planted at Marysville, along the Taggerty River … [fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”]

Thank you Anne and all the St Brigidine Sisters from across the state. I hope to see you again at the upcoming Sustainable Living Festival early next year.  We can sit and have a tea by the Yarra River. Slainte – Colleen[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]

300 TREES PLANTED

April 29, 2026
There’s something quietly powerful about a person who decides, on their own, to do something good for the planet. No fanfare, no corporate mandate – just a simple choice to put a few trees in the ground. When hundreds of individuals make that same choice, something remarkable happens. Native forests are restored, wildlife corridors are rebuilt, and community groups across Australia get to do the work they love. So if you’ve ever purchased trees through Fifteen Trees, thank you.

190 TREES PLANTED

We have a handful of organisations and small companies, who purchase trees when they can. These people are masters of ingenuity when it comes to incorporating tree planting into their business practices.
