Mosaic & Moonlight’s signature image is a smorgasbord of herbal delights. Rosemary, nasturtiums, lavender, camomile, clover – all evocative of the unspoiled natural world. This delightful vibe is carried on into Mosaic & Moonlight’s aromatherapy product range and all the way through their business practices.

Owner Tanya Gulevski founded Mosaic & Moonlight in 2017 in order to share her passion for enjoying natural, quality lifestyle products as part of daily life. Mosaic & Moonlight is certified Australian Made, an award-winning small business, and was a finalist in the 2020 Australian Non-Toxic Awards. Tanya herself is currently completing a certificate in aromatherapy to complement her existing qualifications. This is a business that’s here to stay, and one that plans to walk the talk!

“We are so grateful to have the sponsorship! You have enabled several long-term projects to continue. Formally logged forests have had natural regeneration efforts boosted, riverbanks have been stabilised, wildlife corridors extended, natives planted where weeds used to be, and conservation covenants maintained. Gosh that’s cheered me up just typing it! Don’t we all need a bit of positive news like that right now.”

Priscilla Richards, Landcare Services Manager, Landcare TAS

Tanya is strongly focused on sustainability. This is easily seen in her products, which are cruelty-free and sourced from environmentally friendly providers. Less visible, but just as valuable, is her commitment to the broader eco-cause. Mosaic & Moonlight has partnered with Fifteen Trees to plant 100 trees in 2021.

These trees will help reduce the environmental impact of running a small business. They will also provide untold benefits for the ecosystem they contribute to. Without an ongoing commitment to the land we live on we stand to lose more than just a pleasant treescape – we will lose part of ourselves. Our fauna, flora, water tables, soil structures and the very air we breathe all need our active care to flourish. Small businesses who operate with a conscience, like Mosaic & Moonlight, are showing us how to do it.

Most of us fly into Tasmania. And millions of us do it for the sole purpose of basking in its unique natural wonders and breathing in some of the clearest air in the world. It’s satisfying to think that one of its primary gatekeepers, Hobart Airport, is doing its bit to make Tasmania just that bit greener.
