TREES PLANTED

The Myrniong Catchment Project is aiming to revegetate 34km of creek bank to allow the flow of biodiversity of native trees, shrubs and grasses.

When Ballarat companies such as Integra Group jump on board and help out with funding, it makes the job of the landcare groups (who are mostly volunteers) much easier. They can then concentrate on preparing the land (usually by removing the gorse and blackberry) and in some cases fencing off the planting sites from cattle and sheep.

On a windy, wet Friday in September, the Pentland Hills Landcare group headed out to plant over 1000 trees, of which 150 were donated by Integra.

Thank you to Andre Agterhuis and the team at Integra Group for your continued support of our native environment. To date, this company has helped plant over 600 trees at  Mt Clear and Horsham, Ross Creek, and Bald Hills.

750 TREES PLANTED

July 11, 2026
Since 2019, Argon & Co have been supporting our community tree planting projects and the numbers tell their own story. Eleven thousand (11,000) native trees and counting, with 375 new trees planted every quarter, season after season, without fail.

90 TREES PLANTED

A simple idea with a surprisingly powerful impact. One tree planted for every invoice generated. Empire Project Management sends a lot of invoices and every single one now puts a tree in the ground, contributing to community tree planting projects that restore native habitat, support local landcare groups and help reduce the carbon footprint of a busy, growing business.

40 TREES PLANTED

What was once a heavily degraded site, scarred by gold mining and decades of neglect, is now a thriving pocket of native bushland coming back to life thanks to supporters such as Pascoe Vale Rotary Club.
