Attached are photos of community plantings held at BEN’s tree planting day at the Meredith Police Paddocks (21/8/11). A noticeable trend with these and other activities is the number of young families who are getting involved. At Meredith, we usually get an average of 8 people to our plantings; on Sunday it was 17, half being children.
Thanks once again for your terrific support.

Ballarat car dealership (Ballarat City Honda and European) have been generous supporters of Fifteen Trees and to date have funded the planting of almost 2000 native trees. This month, ten new Peugeot and Honda owners are driving cars with a reduced carbon footprint thanks to Justin Krousoratis of Ballarat City. Meanwhile over at Meredith, 150 new trees have been planted to offset those 10 cars.
