Peter King from Kings Cars, has been a great supporter of local Ballarat community groups since 2010. During this time, they have chipped to help plant over 5,000 trees. These trees have gone to school groups, environmental networks and Landcare groups across the Central Highlands of Victoria for tree planting project. For every new Mitsubishi ASX sold at the Ballarat dealership, Fifteen Trees plants 15 trees.
Late last term, Sarah Page and her environmental teams at Villa Maria PS, planted 345 trees on the school grounds.

The tree planting was done with students from all years during their Environmental Education sessions. We recently planted 1500 native trees, shrubs and grasses in the Campaspe Valley, VIC (Taungurung Country), which is home to variety of birdlife, including Little Corellas, Cockatoos, Musk Lorikeets, Superb Fairywrens, Plumed Honeyeaters and Spotted Pardalotes.
Ballarat Indoor Go Karts have signed up for an ongoing commitment of 28 native trees to be planted monthly to represent the 28 go-karts operating in their centre. This is a great example of thinking creatively, when it comes to running a business with a smaller carbon footprint.
