Thank-you for the opportunity of being able to receive the trees and plant them around our school. The grade 4-6 students had so much fun planting these trees, and getting their hands dirty. We can’t wait for them to grow into big trees and provide us more shade around our grounds. We would like to thank all the people involved in providing our school with these beautiful trees. And in particular King’s Cars. Matt Codd / Principal / Lethbridge PS
New-Kings-CMYK Huge thank you to Peter and the team at King’s Cars. To date, you have helped plant 4,500 trees across Ballarat and district. Slainte – Colleen[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]

2100 TREES PLANTED

According to Sustainability Victoria, the average Australian lifestyle produces 15,000kg of carbon per year. If that sounds like a lot, it is! Over its lifetime, a tree can collect and store 268kg. This means, we each need to plant 58 trees per year to bring our individual carbon production down to zero. A little tricky for most of us to do in our own backyards, and this is where ‘A Subscription for the Planet’ comes in. (Feature image from Mt Worth Landcare).
