Green Action from Kings Cars.

TREES PLANTED

Peter King from King’s Cars Ballarat has been a generous supporter of Fifteen Trees for 8 years. During that time he has helped community groups in the Ballarat district plant over 7,500 trees.

Kings Cars   Fifteen Trees plants 15 trees for every Mitsubishis ASX sold at the dealership. Corporate social responsibility at its best. Last month, 500 of Peter’s trees were planted by the Napoleons/Enfield Landcare Group at Franklin’s Bridge Reserve and Union Jack Creek. All these trees were sourced from Ballarat Wildplants, a fabulous native nursery that propagates their trees from seeds collected locally.
Family effort on National Tree Day.

We had a wonderful turnout involving 90 volunteers including the Landcare members. Thank you Peter King for your contribution to our tree planting project. It all helps and we are very proud of our river restoration, it has taken five years so far, planting a new section each year and replacing failures on the earlier sites. It is a particularly difficult site with variable soils and huge weed load. I’d love to show you the site some day. Please consider this an open invitation! Jenny Ryle | President | Napoleons and Enfield Landcare Group.

Over 90 people attended the tree planting day.

Huge effort from the community to plant 500 trees at Union Jack Creek.
Thank you Peter and the team from Kings Cars. Your monthly contribution means we can offer Ballarat community groups trees for their projects. Did you know that 93% of Victorians believe business and industry should take more action to be sustainable and 73% of Victorians prefer to buy goods and services from businesses that show they care about the environment. Sustainability Victoria 2017. Kings Cars is giving what Victorians want … green action! New Mitsubishi car owners – here are your trees! Sláinte – Colleen

300 TREES PLANTED

April 29, 2026
There’s something quietly powerful about a person who decides, on their own, to do something good for the planet. No fanfare, no corporate mandate – just a simple choice to put a few trees in the ground. When hundreds of individuals make that same choice, something remarkable happens. Native forests are restored, wildlife corridors are rebuilt, and community groups across Australia get to do the work they love. So if you’ve ever purchased trees through Fifteen Trees, thank you.

We have a handful of organisations and small companies, who purchase trees when they can. These people are masters of ingenuity when it comes to incorporating tree planting into their business practices.
