The Upper Goulburn Landcare Networks re-vegetation ‘Lorax Project’ has finished for another year after a very successful year of tree planting throughout the Murrindindi Shire. Funding was provided by the State Governments Communities For Nature grant and we also had welcome support again from Fifteen Trees who were able to provide funds to purchase some plants for our project. Chris Cobern | Coordinator | Kinglake LandcareThe 130 trees have been generously paid for by a number of individuals. Thank you to JENNY & PAUL HARTMANN (Blue Mountains Eco Tours) for your donation of 30 trees, thank you to HELEN PRITCHARD for 15 trees and CLAIRE COULSON for 70 trees. Claire has taken 70 hours of flights and wanted to reduce her carbon emissions of her trip/s. Roughly … for every 1 hour in the air – 1 tree needs to be planted. Very generous individuals. Huge thank you to you all. Slàinte – Colleen[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
