Hi Colleen

We planted at the Hopkins Falls Reserve which is loacted at Wangoom, 15 kms from Warrnambool. We had 32 volunteers including children.

Jane O’Beirne, Hopkins Falls Landcare Group

A fair amount of work took place before planting day with weeds needing controlling and the area prepared. Thank you to Jane and her team for preparing the site and organising the day.

Thanks also to Andrew Womersley from G. J. Gardner Homes Warrnambool for his generosity in providing funds for the trees (240). These trees would not have been planted without his support.

In fact, G. J. Gardner Homes across Victoria and Tasmania have been a major supporter of Fifteen Trees and to date have helped get almost 4000 trees into the ground.

Slainte – Colleen

Individual actions really do matter! Individually we can really only make small differences to the world around us, but collectively our numbers add up. And if enough individuals are involved then forests can be grown!
