Harrison Funerals plants trees for every funeral service.
TREES PLANTED
Since 2010, Maree and Brian Harrison from Harrison Funerals (Ballarat) have been supporting our local community groups by donating mature trees for their grounds and gardens. Though Fifteen Trees, one tree is planted for every service conducted at their Main Rd premises.
This year, one of the recipients of these trees was Ballarat North Primary School.

Classroom teacher, Tracy Murphy writes … “At Ballarat North Primary School we are very fortunate to have some lovely well-established trees and gardens. Thanks to you and Maree and Brian Harrison, from Harrison Funeral, we have now planted an additional 20 mature trees to further enhance our school grounds. One of our main aims was to beautify our courtyard area. Next term we will plant some smaller flowering plants around the edges of these garden beds.We also replaced some old trees that had to be removed and planted the rest of the trees around our oval. The students were very interested in the different types of trees, which included Ornamental Pears, Crab Apples, Golden and Claret Ash, Maples and Chinese Toon trees.Once again, thank you Colleen, and Maree and Brian Harrison for providing the trees for our school grounds”.
Indeed, a huge thank you to Maree and Brian for beautiful gesture to have one tree planted in memory of those who have lost their loved ones.
Slainte – Colleen

Thanks to Yuval’s contribution, we planted 30 native trees in Far North Queensland to restore and protect part of the precious Daintree landscape. Yuval’s gesture connects ethical business practices with real, on-the-ground environmental impact – half a world away.
‘We recognise that our company has an environmental footprint, especially considering the land cleared for new homes and the materials used in their construction. That’s why we’re committed to giving back to the environment and minimising our impact wherever we can’. Kiba Built.
