Planting trees at Black Hill Primary School (Vic)

TREES PLANTED

Dear Colleen, We picked up our bare-rooted trees (from Avalon Nursery) during the final week of last term, and planted them straight away.  Our Environmental Monitors along with our teachers helped plant the trees. It was wonderful to receive such a generous donation for our school, and it will be great in the springtime to see the leaves fill the branches and watch them grow. The children were very excited to help plant the lovely trees. Thank you for your thoughtful program and thank you to Brian and Maree Harrison for your most generous donation of 20 mature trees. Yours sincerely, Annie Wynen, Environmental Monitor Co-ordinator/Teacher, Black Hill Primary School [fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”]

Indeed, a huge thank you to the Harrisons for their continued support to our local schools. Through Fifteen Trees, Harrison Funerals arrange to have one mature tree planted for every funeral service. To date, that equates to 232 trees planted in Ballarat and surrounds. Individual actions really do matter! Individually we can really only make small differences to the world around us, but collectively our numbers add up. And if enough individuals are involved then forests can be grown!
