The true meaning of life …

TREES PLANTED

Maree and Brian from Harrison Funerals (Ballarat) have been long time supporters of the local community through Fifteen Trees. For every service, we organise one mature tree to planted in a public space. Since 2010, we have been planting trees on the behalf of Harrison Funerals. To date, over 500 mature trees have been planted by community groups in and around Ballarat due to this generous couple. The trees are sometimes exotics (Elm, Beech and London Plane), sometimes fruit (apple, pear and cherry) and sometimes native (gum and wattle). It all depends upon what the community group decides as to which trees will grow best. All the trees are sourced from Joanna and David from Avalon Nursery in Haddon.     Recently, 5 trees were planted by students and staff at Yuille Park Community College in Wendouree, Ballarat.
We are very grateful for the trees (5) which were donated by the Maree and Brian Harrison. The trees have all been planted in our school grounds by myself and a few students. The trees will greatly enhance our school and rest assured they will be well looked after by the school community. Thanks again. Daniel O’Kelly | Assistant Principal | Yuille Park Community College.

Once again a huge thank you to Maree and Brian for their continued support of our local schools, enabling them to plant trees for current and future students to enjoy. Sláinte – Colleen

Thanks to Yuval’s contribution, we planted 30 native trees in Far North Queensland to restore and protect part of the precious Daintree landscape. Yuval’s gesture connects ethical business practices with real, on-the-ground environmental impact – half a world away.
