Base Coast GJG and 345 trees

TREES PLANTED

Ross Morley, Managing Director of G. J. Gardner Homes has been supporting our native environment (through Fifteen Trees) since 2013 and has helped plant 1000’s of trees across Victoria and Tasmania. For every new home built, Fifteen Trees organises the planting of 15 trees in the local district. This year, the project will see over 8,500 trees planted by schools, landcare and various environmental groups. GJGLogo_NO-TAG_WHITE_BG_lrg Gary Cox and Gill Hardman from G. J. Gardner Homes Bass Coast in Cowes are generous supporters of local community groups and their tree planting projects. This year, Gary and Gill have purchased 345 trees for the Korumburra Landcare Group.   [fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”]

“Ross Lomagno a sheep farmer from Korumburra planted the trees on his property around a dam site. The planting will help bring birds and other wildlife into his farm and will also increase biodiversity in the local area”. Dave Bateman, NRM Coordinator, Bass Coast Landcare Network

Huge thank you to Gill Hardman and Garry Cox for their on-going support of the community groups along the Bass Coast. These trees will provide native habitat for local species of wildlife and transform this dam into a living lake.
