Planted in

The beautiful Leneva Valley (NSW) gains 690 trees!

G. J. Gardner Homes has been supporting our native environment (through Fifteen Trees) since 2013 and has helped us plant 34,000 trees across Victoria and Tasmania. For every new home built, Fifteen Trees organises the planting of 15 trees in the local district. This year, the project will see over 8,500 trees planted by schools, landcare and various environmental groups.

The partnership with Fifteen Trees allows GJG teams to go into the field for some team building activities as well as help support the local community through their corporate social responsibility policies.

GJGLogo_NO-TAG_WHITE_BG_lrg Adam Gregor and Tristan Bullock from G. J. Gardner Homes Wodonga are generous supporters of local community groups and their tree planting projects. This year, Adam and Tristan purchased 690 trees for the Leneva Valley, NSW. “We had perfect weather for our planting at Leneva Valley on Sunday 27th August. Ten members of the Leneva Castle Creek Landcare Group and representatives from GJ Gardner Homes in Wodonga met on the banks of Middle Creek to plant out a newly fenced stock exclusion zone. The planting of indigenous trees will help to address erosion issues on the creek and create habitat for bush creatures. Many thanks for the opportunity”. Anne Stelling | Coordinator | Landcare Wodonga

Massive thank you to Adam and Tristan, your contribution makes a huge impact on your local community. Six hundred and ninety trees have been planted due to your generosity.

Individual actions really do matter! Individually we can really only make small differences to the world around us, but collectively our numbers add up. And if enough individuals are involved then forests can be grown!

We have a handful of organisations who purchase trees when they can. These organisations are masters of ingenuity when it comes to incorporating tree planting into their business practices.

The Institute of Public Accounts has supported one of our revegetation projects by purchasing a tree for every attendee at their recent Victorian Conference held in Ballarat, VIC. The trees (70) were planted in the district, in the weeks following the conference.
