Tree Planting Day at the Hopkins Falls was held on Sunday, 29thJuly at Wangoom in Southwest Victoria in conjunction with National Tree Day. We had 22 volunteers coming together to help plant around 450 trees/grasses with focus on the areas near the main viewing platform and a side hill on track to bottom of Falls. Many thanks to all those that come along in wet & windy conditions. We all enjoyed a BBQ afterwards, so a very successful day. Also big thank-you to GJ Gardner Homes for their donation of 375 trees for the day. Jane O’Beirne | Secretary | Hopkins Falls Landcare Group
