Following a call from the nursery that the plants were ready and with a great day of weather, I contacted Scott from G.J Gardner Homes to see if they were interested to help. Scott jumped at the chance and within a few hours he was on site. Scott, my daughter Jett and I planted many of the trees that day. Our plan is to work towards planting out a wildlife corridor along the Red Hill Rail Trail. We stopped for some morning tea and then continued planting. A few weeks on with the good weather and the plants have nearly doubled in size!
