“Kinglake Landcare Group held their National Tree Day event on Sunday 22nd July. The event was held at a site on the Whittlesea-Kinglake Rd in Pheasant Creek to create habitat and to link a natural wildlife corridor. Eighteen volunteers including members of the Kinglake Scouts did a great job planting 240 plants kindly donated by Pat and the team at GJ Gardner Homes. Thank you G.J. Gardner Homes for your support over the past few years. Your trees will be looked after by the UGLN over the coming hot summer months”. Chris Cobern |Landcare Coordinator | Upper Goulburn Landcare NetworkThank you to Chris and the team from UGLN for finding such a great home for GJG’s 240 trees. The planting site looks beautiful. And these trees will certainly enhance the environment by providing habitat for the native birds, reptiles, insects and mammals. Sláinte – Colleen Interested in supporting our tree planting projects?
