The partnership with Fifteen Trees, allows G.J. Gardner teams to go into the field for some team building activities as well as giving some support to the local community.
Rohan Smith and Paul Delgallo from G. J. Gardner Homes Geelong are generous supporters of local community groups and their tree planting projects. This year Rohan, Paul and their team purchased 1400 trees for Matt Crawley and the Bellarine Catchment Network. The trees were planted in early August, by Matt and the local community.
“The Bellarine Rail Trail Fellows Road Revegetation and Environment day’ was recently held. The conditions were still, with light winds. Afternoon rain arrived as was forecasted, helping to water the newly planted plants.
The Queenscliffe Community Indigenous Nursery once again provided wonderfully grown tubestock, representing Coastal Saltmarsh species. The indigenous tubestock were revegetated along the Rail Trail with community groups such as the Swan Bay Environment Association, Friends of the Bellarine Rail Trail and Bellarine Catchment Network.
G.J. Gardner Homes Geelong supported this event through purchasing on our behalf the native tubestock (1,400). Lunch was also provided by G.J. Gardner. The site continues to transform from woody and grassy weed species to indigenous plant cover and forms part of the City of Greater Geelong Greening the Songline and the Mountain to Mouth Extreme Arts Walk.”

Thank you Rohan and Paul, for sponsoring 1400 trees for this ongoing rehabitation project being undertaken by the Bellarine Catchment Network. Thank you also to Matt Crawley for finding a site and co-ordinating the planting with the Queenscliffe Community Indigenous Nursery and the Geelong Shire.
