Tree planting at Gippsland Lakes.

TREES PLANTED

Ross Morley, Managing Director of G. J. Gardner Homes has been supporting our native environment (through Fifteen Trees) since 2013 and has helped plant over 30,000 of trees across Victoria and Tasmania. For every new home built, Fifteen Trees organises the planting of 15 trees in the local district. This year, the GJG and Fifteen Trees project will see over 8,500 trees planted by schools, Landcare and various environmental groups. GJGLogo_NO-TAG_WHITE_BG_lrg Michael Ellett from G.J. Gardner Homes East Gippsland has generously pledged 375 trees. These trees went to Maurice Burns and the Tambo Bluff Landcare Coastcare group.   tree planting

On National Tree Day, Sunday 30 July 2017, Principals, Staff and families of GJ Gardner Homes East Gippsland ably assisted Tambo Bluff Landcare Coastcare to plant trees funded through GJ Gardner Homes East Gippsland’s FifteenTrees commitment. The trees were planted “to develop littoral rainforest zones in feeder gullies to freshwater wetlands fringing the Gippsland Lakes at Tambo Bluff”.

Tambo Bluff Landcare Coastcare are very grateful for the funding for plants and for the willing assistance of G.J. Gardner Homes East Gippsland. We all had a good time, improved our local environment and enjoyed a scrumptious morning tea. Perfect.

Individual actions really do matter! Individually we can really only make small differences to the world around us, but collectively our numbers add up. And if enough individuals are involved then forests can be grown!
