Hi Colleen, It was great to receive the trees. In time it will help sure up the gully and further establish the native habitat corridor on the property. We fenced, ripped and sprayed the area, and used the Landmate crew to plant and guard the trees. The Landmate crew are a prison group who do environmental and community work, under the guidance of Project Platypus. Looking at the trees today they are shooting away nicely, great to see they have found their roots in a drier than usual season. Thank you once again for organising this generous donation, its future benefits are greatly appreciated. Kind regards Penny and Russell Hartwich[fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”] Thank you Ashley and Sally for your on-going support of tree planting projects in your local district. The trees have found a great home and it is wonderful to see tree guards being used to protect the young seedlings.
