Ross Morley, Managing Director of G. J. Gardner Homes has been supporting our native environment (through Fifteen Trees) since 2013 and has helped plant 1000’s of trees across Victoria and Tasmania. For every new home built, Fifteen Trees organises the planting of 15 trees in the local district. This year, the project will see over 7,000 trees planted by schools, landcare and various environmental groups. Simon Spiteri from G.J Gardner Homes Point Cook is a generous supporter of local community groups and their tree planting projects. This year, Michael purchased 90 trees for a project at Werribee Park (Vic). Colleen Miller from Western Melbourne Catchment Network organised the site, choose and collected the plants from GAGIN (Greybox & Grasslands Indigenous Nursery) and then early September went out and planted with a handful of volunteers. As you can see from the photo above, these trees have been really well protected. No grazing kangaroos will be feeding on these plants. Thank you Simon for your support.
