TREES PLANTED

In April, FLUOR ran a range of activities organised by Kinetic Health. The theme was ‘health and sustainability’ and throughout the week they had a host of guest speakers (including yours truly), health checks and from what I hear – free smoothies and massages! The upshot from the week, was Fifteen Trees planted 90 trees on Fluor’s behalf. The trees were planted at Westgate Park, Melbourne.

The Friends of Westgate Park took delivery of yet another load of trees provided to our group by Fifteen Trees for planting. The Friend’s project is to restore locally native vegetation at Westgate Park using community volunteers. Its purpose is to maintain and improve the park as an attractive destination for passive recreational visitors, and to provide quality habitats to sustain the native birds and animals that are resident in the park, or rely on it during seasonal movements. The park, featuring indigenous plants, two lakes and extensive wetlands, provides a green space for the City. We really appreciate the support from Fifteen Trees and their generous sponsors”. Tony Flude (President – Friends of Westgate Park).

Thank you to David Boyle from Kinetic Health for finding Fifteen Trees and linking us to FLUOR.
