Damien’s latest trees were planted on the outskirts of the very successful ongoing revegetation project in the new Woowookarung State Forest Victoria. Formally called Canadian Regional Park, the new name acknowledges the deep engagement of the Wadawurrung People with the park and local area. Woowookarung means ‘Place of Plenty’ which highlights its importance to Wadawurrung for food, shelter, medicine and culture. The 641 ha park will see on-going re-vegetation works over the many years to come. Thank you to the Friends of Woowookarung for all your work at this park. And thank you to Damien for your ongoing support for so many years. Sláinte – Colleen Colleen Filippa is the Founder and Director of Fifteen Trees. This year, Fifteen Trees celebrates 10 years. The small team planned a tailored team building day at the Cabbage Tree Bay Aquatic Reserve, Shelly Beach Manly.

Restoring Australian ecosystems. Supporting communities with their revegetation projects for a greener and healthier planet.
Fifteen Trees acknowledges Indigenous Australians as the traditional custodians of the lands on which we work, live and play.
We recognise that Indigenous Australians have cared for and lived in harmony with this land for millennia, and their knowledge and wisdom of the land endures.
We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging and stand in solidarity as Indigenous Australians seek a fairer and more sustainable future for the land and its people.
