“Dear Colleen, The biodiversity of the 12 ha hill site in Flowerdale has improved over the years with good native grass cover. Since the stock have been excluded, the site is now relatively weed free. We have been working on this project since 1999. It is a long term labour of love. An open woodland effect is now evident and animals such as wallabies are now using the area because of the protective cover and grazing provided. The support of companies such as Ecomaster has enabled the Flowerdale Landcare to further develop the biodiversity of this site”.
