Fifteen Trees is delighted to announce that we have partnered up with a fantastic organisation called
CERES (Centre for Education and Research in Environmental Strategies). CERES is an award winning sustainability centre located on 4.5 hectares on the Merri Creek East Brunswick, Melbourne.

Their mission …
- Address the causes of climate change,
- Promote social well being and connectedness,
- Build local and global equity, and
- Embrace and facilitate rapid change.
Students visiting CERES can now reduce their carbon footprint by choosing to have 2 trees planted to help cover the emissions from their bus trip. The trees are planted in regional and rural schools across Victoria, as well as on the grounds of CERES itself.
The very first group of CERES trees (60) have been planted at the tiny rural township of Manangatang (Northwest Vic).

Donna Barry (President of the Parents and Friends) writes ..
“The trees were planted as apart of our 100 years of education celebrations. We had the primary students along with parents, grandparents and community members assisting with the planting. The trees have been planted around the back of the school in staggered rows to create a screening and a wildlife sanctuary. Thank you to all the schools who visited CERES and chipped to enable us to buy our trees”.
Huge shout out to Shane French for initiating this partnership with CERES and Fifteen Trees. A match made in heaven.
