I knew that she would get some beautiful images and find out some great stories from some of the people I’ve had the privilege to meet and work with over the past 4 years. Over the course of a month or so, Georgia made a fabulous 7 minute film and she managed to get my ramblings into something cohesive (no mean feet).[/fusion_builder_column][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”]Brin – Georgia’s father.Georgia also wanted to have 15 trees planted on her behalf. So, she went off to Avalon Nursery, choose 15 native trees and promptly got her family to help plant them. One dynamic film-maker!Thank you Georgia for the lovely film you made about my company, and also thank you to Andrew who always looked so happy to drive you all over the countryside, hold your microphone in place and even plant a few trees.Georgia’s film can be found here. ‘Converge have partnered with Fifteen Trees as part of its commitment to environmental sustainability. By planting a tree for every new employee, Converge is helping to restore native habitats, improve biodiversity, capture carbon emissions, and support healthy ecosystems’. Stuart French | Converge International
There’s something quietly powerful about a person who decides, on their own, to do something good for the planet. No fanfare, no corporate mandate – just a simple choice to put a few trees in the ground. When hundreds of individuals make that same choice, something remarkable happens. Native forests are restored, wildlife corridors are rebuilt, and community groups across Australia get to do the work they love. So if you’ve ever purchased trees through Fifteen Trees, thank you.
‘Tree planting is about far more than restoring the landscape, it’s about bringing people together to care for the places we all value. Thank you for your generous support for the farmers, students, volunteers and conservation partners who are helping create healthier habitat for Tasmania’s unique wildlife while inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards’.
