Hayden Real Estate have reduced their carbon footprint by organising through Fifteen Trees and Ullina Land-care Group, the planting of 30 trees.  The trees have been planted on private properties in the Broomfield and Creswick region.  With the huge amount of rain during the winter and spring, planting was delayed for months as the ground was just too damp. Now that the sun is shining the trees will shoot up rapidly and over the coming years will provide a green haven for our native animals. Thank you to Richard Hayden, owner of Hayden Real Estate (Sturt St, Ballarat) who didn’t hesitate to support this new green venture and give some assistance to landowners aiming to revegetate land that had been deforested many years ago. Let’s hope that more businesses take your lead! Cheers – Colleen[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]

400 TREES PLANTED

David Cook-Doulton and Martin Shew always thought regional towns of Ballarat and Bendigo had a world-class feel. They could see it in the wide streets, the grand buildings and beautiful botanical gardens. And so two world-class hotels were created – Hotel Vera (Ballarat) and Hotel Ernest (Bendigo). Both hotels link luxury with environmental awareness as part of ‘true luxury, founded upon environmental integrity’.
