TREES PLANTED

IMG_0138Hello Colleen, I’ve attached a photo of the tree planting my wife and I did this year, using the trees provided by Fifteen Trees. We planted 30 trees this year (as well as 30 trees last year). Thank you to those who provided the kind donations. Sincerely Andrew and Bernice Prime.   The Brisbane Ranges Landcare Group are made up of a fantastic collection of committed landowners. Neil Day is their co-ordinator.  I am delighted that, through the supporters of Fifteen Trees, we can provide them with trees for their ongoing re-vegetation projects. This is one of many we have supported this year. The trees that Andrew and Bernice planted came from two sources.  Mt Clear couple, Julie Phillips and Ross Gillet paid for 15 of the 30 trees, while Howard Ralley from Feb Fast  bought the rest of the trees as a thank you to colleagues – Josh Comer, Emily Bellemore and Andrea Brown. A quick look at the Feb Fast website tells me that it is not just alcohol that you can give up for the month of February – you can choose to fast from sugar, caffeine or the internet !! Yikes !! Anyone want to tackle one of those with me? Thank you to Julie, Ross and Howard for enabling these 30 trees to be planted in the Brisbane Ranges this year. Slainte – Colleen

‘Nature is not a place to visit, it is a home that we all belong to, so it’s only fitting to give back’. This is a quote we heard a long time ago and it’s something that stuck with us and something we try to live by. Mark and Karyn Pemmelaar.
