John Parke wanted one mature tree planted in memory of Fred Luke. Brian Atkins wanted a tree planted in memory of his dear wife Nesta Atkins who died in September last year. Both trees (an Elm and a Japanese Maple) have been planted at the Norman St Campus of the Ballarat Specialist FARM School.

WPA acknowledges that when it comes to environmental initiatives, its people are its strength. It has recently partnered with us to plant a selection of native trees for each hard-working staff member identified as a Sustainability Warrior.
Sometimes there are really simple things everyone can do to reduce their carbon footprint. When staying at a hotel, choosing to skip the room cleaning and having a tree planted instead, is one of those things’. Hotels for Trees.
Individual actions really do matter! Individually we can really only make small differences to the world around us, but collectively our numbers add up. And if enough individuals are involved then forests can be grown!
