On National Tree Day in July, 60 Ballarat people collected themselves and went off to celebrate the night at their local Green Drinks, which was held at The Rebellion Brewery in Mair St.[fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”]Students from the school planting 60 Green Drinks trees.Green Drinks is an international informal ‘get together’ for anyone who is keen to mix it with the best, have a lovely ale or wine and listen to a guest speaker from the environmental field.In Ballarat, it is a monthly event held usually during the first week of the month.In celebration of National Tree Day, Fifteen Trees decided to plant one tree for each person who ‘walked in the door’.
