Angus & Celeste at Westgate Reserve

TREES PLANTED

Design duo Keir Mac Donald and Asha Cato are based in the Dandenong Ranges, Victoria. From their studio  at Angus & Celeste, they make the most beautiful ceramic jewellery, pots and home-wares. Asha and Keir kick in for 150 trees every six months and have been doing so since 2012.

This time round, their trees have gone to the Friends of The Westgate Reserve.

Planting trees   With the Westgate Bridge as a backdrop, the Friends of Westgate Park have planted 4,000 trees supplied by the generous supporters of Fifteen Trees. The group is engaged in a very successful re-vegetation program at the park which involves annual planting of between 20,000 and 25,000 trees. As these trees grow, the biodiversity of the area is improving. It is becoming a popular place for people and for the birds and animals that choose to make the park their home. Huge thank you to Keir and Asha for their ongoing support of 300 trees every year. Check out the Angus and Celeste website, and in particular their new flower vases and succulent pots (gorgeous).   Angus&Celeste Slàinte – Colleen

Individual actions really do matter! Individually we can really only make small differences to the world around us, but collectively our numbers add up. And if enough individuals are involved then forests can be grown!
