Every quarter, Asha and Keir from Angus and Celeste (makers of ceramic jewellery and home-wares) donate money towards our tree planting project. This quarter was no exception and due to their generosity, 90 trees have gone to Stephen and Heather Joblin from the Flowerdale Landcare Group.
Fifteen Trees have been supporting this amazing group for many years. In 2016, we helped out with 3,000 trees, of which 90 came from Asha and Keir. Thanks guys.

Here we have a great before and after shot. These seedlings donated by Angus & Celeste replace some trees killed in the 2009 fire on the Flowerdale to Broadford Road. Ninety indigenous seedlings were planted on this site.

According to Sustainability Victoria, the average Australian lifestyle produces 15,000kg of carbon per year. If that sounds like a lot, it is! Over its lifetime, a tree can collect and store 268kg. This means, we each need to plant 58 trees per year to bring our individual carbon production down to zero.
