Our whole family has enjoyed the process of planting each tree and each of our children took it in turns to help (for the first 10 and then we had to finish off – of course!) Each week we take a walk along each tree and discuss their progress. This is something of a ritual now that we all enjoy. We check how they are going and see if any have been nibbled on by rabbits. There is a diverse range of wildlife around our property that will inhabit these trees in the future and we are enjoying them grow along side our children.
