Trees for Caledonian Primary School.

TREES PLANTED

Harrison Funerals ‘strive to ensure that every family’s funeral experience is a positive one and through their care and service they are able to ease some of the grief and assist the healing process’. Since 2010, with the assistance of Fifteen Trees, Harrison Funerals plants one mature tree on the behalf of every family who use their specialised service.

Recently, 25 mature trees were planted at Caledonian Primary School due to the generosity of this caring couple. The trees went onto the school grounds and over time will provide shade to the playing children as well as habitat for native insects, birds and mammals.

Hard working students and teacher.

It was a cold, wet day when Caledonian Primary School planted their wonderful trees from Harrison Funerals. The students dug holes, added water crystals, planted their trees and shoveled manure and mulch … all while dodging the showers. By the end of the day everyone was covered in mud but the job was done! Students are taking responsibility for their own trees and are keen to see them bud in spring. We thank Fifteen Trees and Harrison’s Funerals for kind donations and we know that we will be enjoying the shade of these trees for years to come.

Good weather for tree planting.

Once again, a huge thank you to Maree and Brian Harrison for supporting our beautiful Ballarat primary schools by purchasing trees for their school grounds.

Saying goodbye to our loved ones can be so hard. How heartening to think that a memory of them lives on in the beautiful forests of Australia. Every tree is finding its feet and settling in for a generation’s worth of service to the planet.
